Webster Lake Campground sits on the edge of one of Beltrami County's quieter bodies of water, where the pines come down to the shoreline and the only morning alarm is loons calling across the glass.

We've been welcoming campers to this stretch of shore for years — people who come to unplug, to fish from a dock at dawn, to sit on a log and watch the light change over the water. Some stay a night. Some come back every summer and don't leave until Labor Day.
